For nearly 150 years, Publishers Weekly has been at the forefront of book publishing. From reviewing future bestsellers to reporting on major business deals and discovering publishing industry’s rising stars, PW‘s access in the industry is unparalleled. With PWedu, we’re happy to share that access with you.
Whether learning from industry leaders in practical, how-do-they-do-it terms for your own book publishing efforts, or soaking in stories about big books and authors from experts and people who helped make those stories happen, PWedu offers practical and cultural courses for book professionals, librarians and book clubs, authors and writers, fans and readers.
HOW IT WORKS
Each PWedu online course features one or more live (and archived) lectures, followed by virtual classroom sessions. While in a live session, you can raise questions and participate in peer discussions through an online chat feature.
Practical courses give you valuable insight to apply to your own business or career plans, while cultural courses help you explore a topic from multiple angles. Practical courses include access to an online classroom, which opens prior to the session so you can begin learning right away with bonus material. The classroom also provides an interactive space to ask questions, start discussions and make connections with peers.
